Christian music news: Twila Paris Signs With Integrity Music To Release First Live Album

Latest christian music: Songwriter and worship leader Twila Paris has signed with Integrity Music to release her 19th album, He is Exalted: Live Worship on August 30.

"Twila Paris is a Christian music treasure," said Don Moen, president of Integrity Label Group and executive producer of Paris' new CD. "She has written and performed some of our generation's most important worship, and we are honored that she is now recording for Integrity, and as her friend, I am personally thrilled to be working with her."

"The folks at Integrity have long been pioneers in promoting and providing worship music for the Body of Christ," said Paris. "Because they strive to live out the definition of their name, I am honored to have this opportunity to work alongside them."

Produced by David Hamilton (Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, FFH), He is Exalted: Live Worship was recorded in Nashville and is Paris' first live album. The 12-track CD will include eight new songs and two Paris classics including the title track, "He is Exalted" and the 1995 Dove Award Song of the Year, "God Is In Control." She also recorded two songs by fellow Integrity worship artists: Robin Mark's "Days Of Elijah" and Lenny LeBlanc's "We All Bow Down."

The complete track listing is:

"Lifted Higher"
"He Is Exalted"
"Hosanna"
"All Things Work Together"
"God Is In Control"
"Messiah"
"We All Bow Down"
"Days of Elijah"
"Enter In"
"Holy"
"We Have Seen Your Glory"
"Hold Me Close"

He is Exalted: Live Worship will be released on the Integrity Music label, and will include companion resources: a songbook, CD trax, an orchestration and Worship Leader Assistant Digital Songbook. The products will release simultaneously with the CD.

Known as today's "modern-day hymn writer," Twila Paris' songs can be found in church hymnals throughout the world in many different languages. In over two decades of performing and recording, Paris has garnered 32 No. 1 songs, five Dove Awards, three American Songwriter Awards, published three books and sold more than two million albums.
